🍯 Saffron-Infused Honey

Ingredients
  • 1 cup raw honey
  • 20–30 saffron threads

Step 1: Warm the Honey
  • Place honey in a small heatproof jar or bowl.
  • Warm gently (not above 95°F / 35°C) — just enough to loosen it, but not cook it.

Step 2: Add the Saffron
  • Drop saffron threads directly into the warm honey.
  • Stir gently to combine.

Step 3: Infuse
  • Seal the jar and let sit for at least 24 hours at room temperature.
  • The longer it sits (3–5 days), the more golden and aromatic it becomes.

Step 4: Serve
  • Drizzle over yogurt, fresh fruit, cheeses, warm bread, or desserts.
  • Stir into tea or warm milk for a soothing drink.
